On arrival at Nairobi airport you will be met by a local guide and transferred to your central hotel. There’s time to explore the city or simply acclimatise and relax by the pool.

Sarova Panafric Hotel: A welcoming hotel located on the edge of the city centre and set in attractive gardens with a swimming pool, ideal for some pre-safari relaxation.

Day 2 – Lakes Naivasha & Nakuru

Enjoy some breath-taking views over the Great Rift Valley as you head north from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park. After lunch at a lodge, head out on your first game drive to explore the Acacia forests and lake shoreline. The park is home to both black and white rhino, lions, leopards and the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe and you may spot flamingos too. Stay tonight by the shores of beautiful Lake Naivasha and look out for the hippos!

Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge: (Tuesday departure) is set in beautifully manicured gardens that run down to Lake Naivasha with views of the impressive Mt Longonot in the distance. Resident game roam the grounds including zebra, giraffe and hippos.

Lake Naivasha Country Club: (Thursday departure) is a historic lodge that was once the staging post for Imperial Airways that flew from Dublin to Durban. The 12 acres of lawns are shaded by mature accacia and Fever trees and include a swimming pool to relax by whilst on safari.

Travel this morning through the Rift Valley and the tribal lands of the Maasai people to the famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy lunch at the Lodge before your first afternoon game drive. The next day count the amazing number of animals you see during further game drives in this famous park which features all of the ‘Big 5’, cheetah and many more. All meals and activities are included at your superb lodge where you stay for two nights.

Mara Simba Lodge: (Tuesday departure) is situated amongst indigenous forest on the banks of the Teluk River, marking the boundary with the Masai Mara Reserve.

Keekorok Lodge: (Thursday departure) has a prime location within the park close to migration routes coming up from the Serengeti. There are attractive gardens containing a swimming pool and a boardwalk leading to a hippo pool lookout.

Return to Nairobi and transfer to the airport for your flight to Dubai. On arrival, you will be transferred to your choice of hotel.

The rest of the day is yours to start exploring the city or just to relax by the swimming pool or at one of Dubai’s pristine beaches. If you are in Downtown Dubai, make sure to catch a performance of the Dubai Fountain in the Burj Khalifa Lake, every half hour in the evenings.

Today you may choose to explore some of the famous landmarks and sites at your own pace. You could visit Dubai Creek, go shopping in the huge Dubai Mall, or travel on the monorail all the way to Atlantis on The Palm Jumeriah.

If you would like to ascend the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, we recommend pre-booking a ticket, as they typically sell out in advance. The view from the observation deck is sublime, across the city, desert and Persian Gulf.

You will travel by 4×4 to the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve for a thrilling driving experience over the undulating dunes, before watching the changing colours of the desert through sunset.

A delicious BBQ buffet dinner in an authentic Bedouin camp is included, accompanied by a cultural performance. Plus there’s a chance to ride a camel or get a traditional henna tattoo.
