Transfer from Kasane into Namibia to board your luxury floating hotel for the start of your cruise. The Zambezi Queen is a stylish vessel with just 14 en suite cabins that feature floor-to-ceiling windows and private balconies from which to enjoy the ever changing vistas. On the top floor there is a lounge, bar and dining area boasting 360 degree panoramas, whilst the outdoor deck has a plunge pool for guests to cool off in.

This afternoon a launch will take you closer to shore for some excellent game spotting. Return to the boat for a captain’s welcome drink and delicious dinner, before gently falling asleep to the distant sounds of Africa.

After breakfast the day’s activities commence with a water based safari. The shorelines are a magnet for wildlife coming to drink and it is estimated that Chobe is home to 120,000 elephants, as well as numerous predators that wait in ambush by the river.

Alternatively this time can be used for a cultural visit to a local village, bird-watching or fishing. A 4WD game drive can be taken in Chobe National Park at extra cost. This afternoon there is a further water based safari.

After a final breakfast, bid the crew farewell before transferring to the airport for your onward flight – or stay a while longer at one of Chobe’s superb game lodges.
