This morning we take a trip to the Cascades in Gloucester National Park. The Lefroy Brook is an impressive sight as it tumbles over the Cascades. We carry on through the National park to view the Gloucester Tree which was once the second highest fire lookout tree in the world; however, it is no longer used for this purpose. We then join the Pemberton Tramway as it shuffles out of Pemberton and descends deep into the Karri Forest. The tram meanders along the historic line crossing three bridges, stopping at the Cascades before returning to the station.

After some free time in Pemberton, we head to Silkwood Estate. Perched lakeside and with panoramic views of the Karri Forest, this is the perfect place to enjoy award winning wines and lunch.

Later we return to Karri Valley Resort to enjoy the wonderful facilities of the property; a canoe trip on the lake or a walk to the falls.
