Days 1 & 2 - Singapore
From midday, board your luxury floating hotel, the Celebrity Solstice with time to settle into your stylish stateroom and familiarise yourself with the ship’s excellent facilities. As the ship is docked until late afternoon the following day, you have plenty of time to experience this diverse city, both day and night.
The onboard Destinations Concierge can arrange a transfer for you if you wish to explore independently or opt for a guided excursion. You could visit the iconic Raffles Hotel for a Singapore Sling, take in the views from observation platform at Marina Bay Sands, or take a stroll through the magnificent Gardens by the Bay – to name a few. On the evening of day 2, set sail on your Asian voyage of discovery.
Days 3 & 4 - At Sea
Surrounded by miles and miles of pure blue ocean, your days at sea are the ideal time to relax and try some of the facilities. On the top deck you can enjoy the main pool area with its resort-style atmosphere, or there is the adults-only indoor solarium. The rooftop terrace is the place to catch a movie under a star-lit sky, or head to the main theatre for a west-end style show or comedy.
Days 5 & 6 - Bangkok
Arrive early morning at Laemchabang port which serves Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand. The Solstice will be docked over night until early evening the next day, allowing plenty of time to see this energetic city. You can book a transfer in and visit the sights independently, take a guided tour to visit places such as the stunning ornate temples, or even stay overnight in a hotel – the choice is yours.
Day 7 - At Sea
A day on the ocean waves to enjoy the cruise ship’s facilities.
Day 8 - Saigon
Arrive this morning into the port of Phu My which serves Vietnam’s vibrant city of Saigon. Explore the city independently or take a guided tour to visit landmarks such as the beautiful Opera House and Ho Chi Minh Square. Alternatively, you may like to head into the countryside and visit the Cu Chi Tunnels or Mekong Delta.
Day 9 - At Sea
A day relaxing at sea.
Day 10 - Danang
This morning dock at Chan May near Da Nang where, after breakfast, you will have the day to explore the area. Some of the options include a visit to the heritage town of Hoi An for a walking tour around its charming streets, or a visit to the former imperial city of Hue with its beautiful Thien Mu Pagoda and imposing Citadel.
Days 11 & 12 - Halong Bay
Dock around midday in Halong Bay, famous the world over for its stunning scenery. You may like to take a boat ride around this beautiful bay with its intriguing rock formations that rise abruptly from the sea. Alternatively, head inland to visit Vietnam’s capital city of Hanoi with its mix of ancient temples and elegant colonial architecture. The ship leaves this evening for the journey north.
Day 13 - At Sea
During one of your days at sea, take the opportunity to go on a ‘behind the scenes’ tour to learn about the ship’s operation. Visit places like the engine room, the main galley and even the bridge to meet the captain!
Day 14 - Hong Kong
Arrive early morning into Hong Kong, one of the most recognisable harbours in the world. The ship will be docked here until tomorrow morning, allowing you the day and evening to discover the beauty and vibrancy of this city. You could take the tram to Victoria Peak, shop for souvenirs at Stanley Market and visit the fishing village of Aberdeen, plus much more.
Day 15 - Disembark
This morning say farewell to friends you have made along the way as you disembark. You may like to extend your stay in Hong Kong at one of our excellent hotels – speak to your Travel Consultant about the options.
