Arrive in the Queensland gateway city of Brisbane where the Ashes Series traditionally begins. Spend the day exploring the picturesque Southbank precinct which comes alive pre or post any sporting event with its alfresco dining, open park space, and riverside views. The city’s stadium, The Gabba, is a 20 minute walk from the Southbank.

Day 2 to 4 – Noosa
Collect your hire car from the Brisbane depot and travel north along the Nature Coast to spend three nights beside the picturesque sands of Noosa’s Main Beach and bustling Hastings Street. From here you can explore the walking trails of the National Park, soak up the atmosphere in the local al fresco bars and restaurants, or simply relax and soak up the sun.

Day 5 to 7 – Adelaide
Return your car to Brisbane Airport before your flight to Adelaide, where an exciting three night stay in the Oval Hotel awaits. The historic Adelaide Oval has long been considered one of the world’s most picturesque cricket grounds and has played host to the Ashes as well as regular fixtures within cricket, Aussie Rules Football, Rugby League, Rugby Union, and even large concerts and events.

Spend four nights within walking distance of the city’s impressive sporting waterside precinct, home to the Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne Park, and the impressive Melbourne Cricket Ground, affectionately known as the MCG.
