Feel that tropical warmth as the airport doors open. Make your way to your pre-booked hotel in the city centre, where you can relax after your flight, enjoy a dip in the pool, or just drop off your bags and head to the waterfront.

Day 2 to 4 – Cairns & The Great Barrier Reef
You have three full days in Cairns to soak up the sun and explore the reef…
You have three full days in Cairns to soak up the sun and explore the reef and rainforest.
On a day of your choice we have included a Great Barrier Reef cruise, which will take you to a pontoon in the Outer Barrier Reef, from where your can snorkel or enjoy a glass bottom boat tour over the colourful corals.
On your other days, you could ride the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, ascending above the canopy to reach the mountain village of Kuranda, or join a day tour to Cape Tribulation and the Daintree Rainforest.
In Cairns itself, the lively Esplanade has plenty of cafés, bars and restaurants, and the palm fringed beaches of Palm Cove and Trinity Beach are not far away.

On a day of your choice we have included a small group tour to the ever-impressive Blue Mountains. You’ll visit Echo Point for a great view of the Three Sisters, and ride the Scenic Skyway across the Jamison Valley.
Back in the city there is plenty to see and do. You could stroll through the Royal Botanic Gardens to the iconic Opera House, climb Sydney Harbour Bridge or kick back on enjoy an afternoon on the beach in Bondi, Bronte or Manly.

You have the rest of the day and tomorrow to explore. You could check out the trendy cafés and street art in Melbourne’s famous Laneways, wander through the Royal Botanic Gardens, catch the tram to beachside St. Kilda, or take in the view from the top of the Melbourne Skydeck.

On the first day of the Test Match there will be an official Pre-Match Function, featuring…
On the first day of the Test Match there will be an official Pre-Match Function, featuring former Australian and/or England cricketers – and you’re invited!
And then the action begins… You will have a 5-day ticket for your chosen area of the MCG to see England take on Australia to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Test Cricket. This iconic ground may hold over 100,000, but we’re pretty sure there won’t be a spare seat in the house!
The 150th Anniversary Test Match is a day-nighter, so you will have time for a leisurely brunch in Melbourne each morning, and perhaps a celebratory glass on the way back to your hotel in the evening.
