Day 1

Feel the excitement build as your plane lands in Melbourne, Victoria. Collect your bags and make your way to your pre-booked hotel in the city centre, where you can relax after your flight, take a dip in the pool or head out for your first taste of this colourful city.

You have a day to get to know Melbourne before the cricket begins tomorrow. You could:
- Check out the trendy cafés and street art in Melbourne’s famous Laneways
- Wander through the Royal Botanic Gardens
- Catch the tram to St. Kilda and walk along the historic pier
- Take in the panoramic views from the top of the Melbourne Skydeck
- Enjoy a Yarra Valley wine-tasting tour or Puffing Billy steam train ride (both available to pre-book)

And then the action begins… You will have a 5-day ticket for your chosen area of the MCG to see England take on Australia to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Test Cricket. This iconic ground may hold over 100,000, but we’re pretty sure there won’t be a spare seat in the house!
The 150th Anniversary Test Match is a day-nighter, so you will have time for a leisurely brunch in Melbourne each morning, and perhaps a celebratory glass on the way back to your hotel in the evening.

After a famous England victory (🤞) make your way to the motorhome depot this morning and collect your vehicle – with 2 berth campers to 6 berth family-friendly motorhomes available.
When you are ready, make the short drive to Phillip Island. Home to an abundance of wildlife and Australia’s largest seal colony, we suggest you spend your time enjoying the spectacular views and strolling along the boardwalks before watching the famous Penguin Parade at dusk (available to pre-book).

After a famous England victory (🤞) make your way to the motorhome depot this morning and collect your vehicle – with 2 berth campers to 6 berth family-friendly motorhomes available.
When you are ready, make the short drive to Phillip Island. Lakes Entrance is a town at the entrance to Gippsland Lakes, a vast system of inland waterways. There is also a pedestrian bridge across to Ninety-Mile Beach, which stretches along the town’s Tasman Sea shoreline. You may be able to spot kangaroos enjoying the soft sands.
