Welcome to Kenya! You’ll be met at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for the short drive to your chosen Nairobi hotel.

The rest of the day is yours at leisure, to relax after your flight or explore the Kenyan capital. Please ask your Travel Consultant if you would like to pre-book a Nairobi city tour, or a visit to the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage and nearby Giraffe Centre, where you’ll get to meet the star residents and learn about the conservation work undertaken by both organisations.

From Nairobi’s Wilson Airport, it’s a scenic 50 minute flight to the Masai Mara, Kenya’s world renowned National Reserve. The aircraft are typically 12 to 20 seaters, affording wonderful views of the Great Rift Valley below.

With three nights in the park you’ll have an excellent chance of seeing the ‘Big 5’, as well as cheetah, giraffe, zebra, antelope and baboon. All meals, game drives and bush walks are included in your stay. Morning game drives set out at dawn, when the animals are most active. Afternoon game drives leave after the heat of the day has passed, returning to your lodge as the sun sets over the savannah.

Your accommodation is at Keekorok Lodge, set in attractive gardens with a swimming pool and boardwalk leading to a hippo pool lookout. Alternatively, you can upgrade to Ashnil Mara Camp, positioned along the banks of the Mara River, or the luxurious Sand River tented camp, where drinks are also included in your stay.

After flying back from the Masai Mara, you have a second night in Nairobi before your flight to Mauritius tomorrow.

Welcome to Indian Ocean paradise! With the flight from Nairobi to Mauritius around 4 hours 15 minutes, and most hotels within an hour’s transfer from the airport, you could be enjoying cocktails by the pool before the sun starts to set!

We offer a choice of Mauritius beach resorts for your to spend the next seven nights, with all-inclusive options available. Around Grand Baie to the north of the island you’ll find some stunning beaches, as well bars and eateries to hop between in the evening. Both the east and west coasts have stretching sandy beaches, with a selection of stylish four and five star resorts, while in the south the coastline is a little more rugged, with volcanic cliffs dropping down to the sea.

Most hotels offer free snorkel hire and other water sports, though do take the chance to also explore inland, perhaps visiting Port Louis and the Botanical Gardens, or Black Rover Gorges National Park.
