As the Avani Victoria Falls Resort is located within the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, guests are just a 5 minute walk away. Around the resort wildlife sightings are common and it is quite possible you could wake up to a zebra on the lawns. There is also access to the viewing decks at sister hotel the Royal Livingstone, next door.

Attractively built in the style of an African village you will find all manner of traditional Zambian artworks and mosaics throughout the hotel. There is a large pool set in expansive gardens which are surrounded by the 212 rooms in their low rise buildings. A choice of dining includes the casual Theatre of Food, whilst for a cultural experience there is a boma dinner with traditional dance entertainment on selected days of the week.

From here it is possible to arrange a variety of excursions and if you are travelling with children there is a programme of activities to keep them amused.
