You’ll be met at your hotel early this morning for the short drive to Thon Buri railway station in central Bangkok. Travelling in 3rd Class, relax and enjoy the scenery or mingle with your fellow train travellers. The rail journey takes around three hours.
On arrival at in Kanchanaburi, you will be transferred to your hotel, the welcoming U Inchantree, which is located on the River Kwai, a five minute walk from the infamous bridge. You have time this afternoon to visit the WWII memorial and cemetery, as well as enjoy the hotel’s riverside gardens.

Day 2 – Erawan National Park
After breakfast, depart for Erawan National Park for a guided walk along a nature trail through magnificent mountain scenery. You’ll see waterfalls and lots of native trees, plants and bird life. After lunch, appreciate the natural environment from a different perspective on a (sturdy!) bamboo raft on the river.
Finish the day with a train ride on the historic Death Railway along the most impressive stretch of the River Kwai and across the infamous bridge.

Day 3 – Kanchanaburi to Bangkok
This morning, enjoy some free time, before transferring to the station for the afternoon train from Kanchanaburi to Bangkok.
