Transfer from Nelspruit Airport to Mjejane Lodge for a three night safari experience. This diverse and unspoilt environment is home to giraffe, zebra, kudu and all the predators that depend on them. Enjoy game drives within their private reserve or the Kruger park itself in search of the ‘Big 5’, before relaxing in the evening to either enjoy the lodge facilities.
Today you will be picked up from your lodge and driven across the South Africa – Mozambique border on a four hour scenic journey to Maputo. Here, board your motorboat and leave the bustle of the city far behind as you approach the secluded Santa Maria peninsular and your home for the next five nights at Machangulo Lodge.
Enjoy the soft white sand beaches, and the cool coastal forests that bookend this peaceful hotel. You can either relax and be pampered or you can participate in some of the many activities on offer. There are plenty of water sports to enjoy, such as snorkelling and diving or you can join an excursion in to the mangroves to search for turtles and indigenous birds. In the evening relax with a cocktail on your private deck overlooking the ocean and the nearby tropical islands – perfect post-safari relaxation!
Bid a fond farewell as you take the boat back to Maputo and transfer by road to the airport for your onward flight.
