Exploring Kruger National Park

Kruger National Park enjoys iconic status around the world, offering some of the best wildlife experiences in Africa. The buzz of heading out on a game drive, just as the sun is rising, is really second to none. This is the Africa you always dreamt of, scenic bushland, golden sunsets and an incredible abundance of game.

The Park itself is the size of a small country and has been widely acclaimed for its conservation work. The southern part is the most popular due to easy access and its excellent game. In the north you’ll find a large elephant population.

There is an excellent network of sealed roads throughout Kruger, 4WD tracks and even cycling and hiking trails. The sheer diversity of wildlife means that every day another adventure unfolds almost before your eyes.

By far the best way to enjoy your Kruger experience is to take an organised game drive. The expert rangers will delight in sharing their knowledge with you and are well versed in tracking down even the most elusive of creatures.

There are many different styles of accommodation from private game reserves to hotels and lodges, many of which include game drives in the price of your stay. Your FREEDOM Consultant will be happy to advise the best choice for your taste and budget.
