Today begins with a beautiful drive from Chiang Mai to the mountainous Mae Ring district as you make your way to the Elephant Nature Park. Here you will learn about their work  rescuing elephants from industries where they have been ill treated and are now provided with care and a safe place.

After watching the elephants from the observation platform, your guide will introduce the group to some of these endearing creatures and there will be the opportunity to interact and take some photos. After lunch the caretakers will bring the elephants down to the river where they can play and relax in the water.

The Elephant Nature Park’s top priority is the ethical and sustainable tourism of elephants in Thailand. The tour directly funds the rescue of Asian Elephants and the local communities who care for them.
