Your Itinerary
Day 1 - Cape Town
On arrival into Cape Town, you will be transferred to one of our centrally located Cape Town hotels where you will spend the next four nights.
Cape Town’s city bowl area offers great restaurants and bars near Kloof and Long Street, whilst the city’s wonderful attractions include the beach at Camps Bay, Table Mountain and the V&A Waterfront.
Day 2 - Cape Town
After a leisurely breakfast it’s time to head out for a fascinating half day city tour, taking in the House of Parliament, the Castle, lively Greenmarket Square, and a cable car ride to Table Mountain. Visit the colourful Bo Kaap district before returning to the waterfront for an afternoon of shopping, strolling or head back to your hotel for some time by the pool.
Day 3 - Cape Winelands
This morning you’ll embark on a full day tour, beginning with a scenic drive through the beautiful mountain and vineyard scenery of the famous Cape Winelands.
You will enjoy fine Cape Dutch architecture and a cellar visit in Stellenbosch before travelling to the old French Huguenot town of Franschhoek for further wine tasting. After lunch a further stop will be made in Paarl en route back to Cape Town.
Day 4 - Cape Town
Spend the final day in Cape Town exploring at your own leisure. Maybe revisit a favourite spot, enjoy afternoon tea at the famous Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel or hop on the ferry over to Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 18 years.
Alternatively, you could add a tour to see the beautiful Cape Point Peninsular scenery which also stops to to see the penguins at Boulders Beach.
Day 5 - Farewell
Today its time to leave the city behind for your onward travels. Cape Town makes an excellent launching point for visiting many other places within South Africa and beyond, whether this is travelling along the scenic Garden Route, or hopping on a plane to go on safari.
