Set in a 8650-acre private nature reserve just 30 minutes from Hermanus, Grootbos is a luxury eco-lodge that showcases the unique marine and floral diversity of the region. The reserve offers a variety of complementary activities, including guided nature walks, land-based whale watching (Jul-Nov), bird watching and horse riding on the reserve. Boat trips can be arranged to Dyer Island where whales, sharks, seals, dolphins and penguins can be seen.
