What is included on an Outback Spirit tour?
Outback Spirit tours are all-inclusive. This means that all your meals, a selection of beverages, transportation, attraction fees and experiences are all encompassed in your tour rate.
For first time guests (on packages over 6 days) you will also receive an Outback Explorer pack. Your comfortable, lightweight backpack comes equipped with some touring essentials, including a quick-dry towel for waterhole dips, a stainless steel water bottle to keep you hydrated, and luggage tags.
Please note, there is a specific luggage allowance on Outback Spirit tours. Each guest can bring one soft bag or suitcase with a maximum weight of 16kg. The sum of the case’s length, width and depth should not exceed 140cm. You can also bring one piece of hand luggage, with a maximum weight of 3kg.
What kind of vehicle will you be touring in?
During your Outback Spirit tour, you will travel in a Mercedes Benz 4WD coach. These vehicles are comfortable, and well-equipped for exploring remote and rugged areas of the Outback. On board, you can expect spacious reclining seats, air-conditioning, a bathroom, a refrigerator and a hot water urn.
How big are the groups on Outback Spirit tours?
The maximum number of passengers on an Outback Spirit tour varies from 19 to 26 people. These small groups offer an intimate and personal atmosphere, and allow you to get more from your tour. You’ll stay in smaller, boutique lodges, access areas that are unavailable to bigger groups and get to know your fellow travellers.
