As well as warm welcomes, Australia is world famous for its incredible landscapes, millions of years in the making.

Words alone cannot describe the feeling of first setting eyes on Uluru. Sacred to the Anangu, the traditional custodians of the land, it never fails to enchant those who visit.

The sheer vastness of the Australian outback is a natural wonder in itself, giving way to equally awe-inspiring rainforests in the northern tropics and mountains, forests and vineyard-clad valleys in the west and southeast.

And Australia’s beaches? Well, there’s 10,000 thousand of them, so a little space to yourself is guaranteed, barring the odd ‘roo hopping by.

And we haven’t even yet mentioned the Great Barrier Reef. A wonder of the natural world, over 2,300 km in length and home to 9,000 known species. Awesome awaits.

At FREEDOM, it all started with Australia, some 24 years ago. David, our MD, was looking for a company who could mix and match hotels, car hire, day tours and experiences, for a holiday with his family and relatives Down Under.

He couldn’t quite find what he needed, so started his own, Freedom Australia, with a team of Aussie Experts, who had all lived or travelled in this fabulous country.

Fast forward to 2024, and the team has grown but the mission remains the same; to offer the freedom to holiday exactly how you’d like to, with a great choice of things to do and ways to travel, and specialist staff to put everything in place for you.
